Under the Development of Interactive Learning Tools and Evaluation activity, our teams in Belgium, Türkiye, and Austria have each created three practical exercises now ready for use.
These activities are designed for youth professionals working with migrant youth in group settings. They combine creative expression, elements of the arts, and innovative use of digital tools to make learning both engaging and impactful. Many also integrate AI-supported features to spark discussion, visual thinking, and reflection.
Each exercise offers a space where participants can reflect on belonging, identity, integration, dialogue, and community. Through storytelling, collaborative artwork, and guided discussion, young people build empathy, challenge stereotypes, and explore intercultural perspectives. Activities range from personal storytelling to role-based reflection, helping participants understand how unconscious bias and social assumptions affect inclusion.
The aim is simple: to promote intercultural dialogue in an inclusive, low-pressure format that fosters connection, empathy, and mutual understanding. And while created with migrant youth in mind, these tools can be adapted for any target group where diversity and dialogue matter.
With these nine new exercises, youth workers now have creative, tech-enabled, and adaptable methods at their fingertips, ready to bring conversations to life and inspire change in their communities.
